Career Pathways

Career Pathways is a culturally integrated college and career readiness program for Alaska Native high school students. Strength-based social engagement activities, mentorships, week-long dual-credit intensives, and culturally affirming personal learning plans help students identify and achieve their postsecondary goals.

The program provides week-long intensives for high school students looking to gain experience in culturally grounded career and technical education fields. SHI sponsors community visits, college tours, summer activities, credit recovery classes, and a college and career summit annually.
