Postsecondary Programs

SHI sponsors programs to increase the number of Alaska Native students who have access to educators teaching their Indigenous language, support and retain current language educators, increase access to language courses, and provide scholarships for students pursuing college degrees in Tlingit, Haida, and Tsimshian languages.

    SHI’s Our Ancestors’ Echoes program expands access to Indigenous language educators, courses, scholarships, and immersive learning communities.
